Ashfield Residential Care Home is situated in the bustling suburb of London, North Finchley. North Finchley is in the London Borough of Barnet and is serviced by excellent bus routes and the Mainline Rail service out of both Moorgate and Kings Cross towards Hertford North along side the Northern Line tube service. Ashfield is conveniently located to take advantage of the popular amenities offered by local high street with its mixture of shops, cafes and local delicatessens. Ashfield was constructed in 2006 to provide en-suite accommodation over three floors, all serviced by a lift. To the rear of the home is a private destination sensory garden and patio that is accessible by all our residents. Welcome to Ashfield Residential Care Home. Our manager at Ashfield is Maria Smith who has worked with Ventry Residential Care at Brownlow Residential Care Home since May 2016. She was appointed Registered Manager of Ashfield in March 2017 having worked in the role deputy manager.
Maria has qualified as a nurse in her home country and has completed a HND in Business Administration. Maria is working towards her Diploma in Leadership and Management Level 5. Maria is very much a ‘hands on’ manager and enjoy interacting with her residents, their friends and relatives on a daily basis. The small and homely nature of Ashfield very much supports this close relationship. Maria is passionate about her role and works with her staff team to deliver a high quality of care to her residents every day.
Ashfield sits within the Ventry family as an affiliate company. It is registered separately with the Care Quality Commission and it’s provider is Circa Care Ltd.
